How is life purpose coaching different, and what’s your coaching style?
Like other types of life coaching, life purpose coaching focuses on the whole person. This means your work/career, relationships/ family life, as well as daily lifestyle/ habits are all part of our conversations.
What makes life purpose coaching distinct is that it really centers the power of a clearly defined purpose. Each client will have a unique journey of arriving at their purpose, however. Some may have immediate circumstances that need addressing; others might be able to get started on exploring their purpose right away.
Additionally, each coach brings a unique background and training that makes their coaching style different from others. My coaching is through a multicultured lens that uplifts minority experiences and centers their wisdom as being the leading experts in their own lives.
Finally, my formal training as a coach is through the Core Energy Coaching model, which focuses on creating shifts in the external world by focusing on the internal obstacles. As an Energy Leadership Index Master Practitioner, I believe in the power of energy in influencing our actions. As Einstein said, “everything is energy,” and that’s a principle that informs how I approach my work as a coach.
